Loni Love has found herself in hot water after congratulating her “The Real” co-host’s estranged husband for a new baby his girlfriend welcomed Friday.
Jeannie Mai’s spouse, Freddy Harteis, shared a photo of himself holding his daughter, Emersyn Rose, on Instagram Oct. 26.
“Life just took on a whole new meaning. Would never believe a little girl could melt my heart like this. I love you Emersyn Rose. Thank you God for trusting me with this little life,” “The Hollywood Hunter” host wrote in the caption.

Love was among several well-wishers who commented on the picture.
“Everything works out for a reason… I wish you the best and welcome to the world Emersyn Rose …” she said.
In no time, fans lit up Love for appearing to abandon Mai.

Love didn’t just sit back and take the criticism. She responded to a few commenters.
“@shanishamonae and did you hear what I said? Go back and listen to the interview….” she said to the Instagram user wondering about her radio interview two weeks ago.
“@brittanythalia stay out of grown folks business you child!!!” she told a user who questioned her loyalty.
“@christiandggultom end of story!!!” she co-signed a user who came to her defense saying, “@comiclonilove Leave them haters. Someone just got a blessing of a child, and you just congratulated him. Nothing wrong with that.”
Mai announced she and Harteis were getting a divorce in October 2017. Six months later in April, Harteis announced he and his girlfriend, Linsey Toole, were expecting a baby, according to a since-deleted Instagram post captured by the Jasmine Brand.
When “The Real” co-hosts appeared on “The Breakfast Club” on Oct. 12, they discussed the odd timing of Toole’s pregnancy in relation to Mai’s divorce announcement.
“I was never really the type to really sit there and actually calculate and do math… but then, our ‘Real’ fam comes in and goes, ‘Wait, when you announce you met this person at this time and now you’re together having the baby at this time, Jeannie just came out with you guys getting divorced at this time,’ that’s funny!” Mai said.
