Mommy-to-be Kenya Moore‘s upcoming baby shower seems to have her flustered, to say the least.
The former “Real Housewives of Atlanta” star took to Instagram on Saturday to voice her annoyance with invitees she says didn’t have the courtesy to RSVP her “monumental life-changing event,” which is less than a week away.
“RSVP literally means RESPOND PLEASE in French,” Moore griped. “So if you get an invitation, respond with a yes or no if you will be attending.”
She continued: “#Etiquette101: If you cannot attend a monumental life-changing event in a friend’s life, it’s nice to send a gift anyways (weddings, graduations, baby showers). Or is it not about class? It is NOT about a dollar amount. It’s to show you care the same way the person cared to invite you to share a moment in their life.”
Moore concluded the post by telling folks to “be blessed” and “#HaveSomeClass.”
Moore and her new husband, Marc Daly, are expecting their first child together in a little over a month, around Thanksgiving. The former Miss USA said she won’t know the sex of her baby until after she gives birth. Moore told E! News in September how thrilled she was to be in the final stretch of her pregnancy, adding, “I’m being as healthy as I possibly can and being as positive as I can.”
Fans were disappointed at news that the ex-beauty queen would not be returning for the 11th season of RHOA, but many are still holding out hope that she and Daly will land their own pregnancy special on the Bravo network. Moore cited ongoing “drama” as the reason for her leaving the popular series, but suggested last week that she was open to possibly returning for a later season.
“I always say never say never,” the “gone with the wind fabulous” star told fans.
