Tamar Braxton is breathing a sigh of relief after the finale of “Braxton Family Values” aired last week and she’s hoping all the time-consuming career moves she’s made serves a purpose for her son.
“This has been one INCREDIBLE journey,” she tweeted Thursday, Oct. 4 after the WE tv series concluded its sixth season. “I have experienced extreme highs and extreme lows all in front of you all! Being open and honest with you guys is what I feel made us all connect in the first place. I just hope and pray that I can continue being a reflection of REAL LIFE.
“I hope that just as you can see the anger and pain you can see the desire and dreams that have come true,” she added in a follow-up tweet. “I hope and pray that NONE of my life, my career, my music, my tv shows, my time away from SON will be in vain.”
“Thank you guys for being open to me. Letting me into your homes and your lives, and supporting ME,” she added. “I have some tricks up my sleeve and some things to come! I’m so excited about the next chapters. đđđ”
Braxton appeared on the first half of BFV but was largely absent from the second part of the season. That’s when she and her sisters Toni Braxton, Towanda Braxton and Trina Braxton ditched the series for a time and left Traci Braxton who kept filming the show without them. The incident led to tension between the siblings, which was hashed out during a mediation session with Iyanla Vanzant that aired during the two-part season finale.
Now, it appears that Tamar is simply focused on how the program, her music and other career endeavors that take her away from her 5-year-old son, Logan, will pay off. And fans have reassured her that she did the right thing by being vulnerable on the show.
