T.I. and Tiny Harris are reportedly returning to reality TV.
The couple’s show, which ran on VH1 and was titled “T.I. & Tiny: The Family Hustle,” is said to be coming back to the small screen, according to a Monday, Sept. 24 report from the Jasmine Brand. The website cites sources who claim the couple has been shooting this summer and it will air in the fall.
This comes two months after Tip slammed reports that he and Tiny were set to revive their family reality series, which ran for six seasons from 2011 to 2017.
“To whom it may concern… if it ain’t come from me or @majorgirl it ain’t real. Family Hustle On Ice until further notice. Thx,” the rapper said on Instagram back in July.
The initial report said the couple was filming that month, with insiders claiming fans will be able to see the performers’ life, home and on stage, adding that they were offered a 10-episode deal.
But adding further fuel to the current round of rumors for the show is a previous report from the Atlanta Journal-Constitution.
The Georgia Department of Economic Development’s list of active TV and film productions in the state shows that the “Family Hustle” is indeed taping.
The report also gave more specifics about the timing of the shooting, with a spokeswoman revealing the show started taping in July and will wrap up by the end of September.
T.I., who overcame a cheating scandal and apparent marital strife with his wife over the summer, hasn’t responded to the newest reports about his family’s show. But he’s continued promoting his current reality series, “The Grand Hustle,” which airs on BET. The show follows hopeful businessmen and businesswomen as they vie for the chance to work for his expanded company.
Meanwhile, Harris, who has also not spoken about the new rumors, has been focusing on her kids, singing career and her new smoothie bar.
