Rapper Daz Dillinger Arrested After Marijuana Drug Bust

Dogg Pound artist Daz Dillinger is facing 13 drug possession charges after police say they found four ounces of marijuana in his home.

The “Stay Out the Way” rapper was arrested Tuesday night in the Atlanta suburb of Powder Springs, Ga., and taken to the Cobb County Jail after officers found 117 grams of marijuana in his home, TMZ reported.

Authorities also discovered 10 THC pods, THC oil, cigarillo packets, a “Cannabis Lean” labeled canister, a THC vaporizer, and a green mason jar, according to police. Dillinger allegedly had a bottle tagged as a grape drink laced with cannabis, according to the news source.

Cobb police spokeswoman Officer Sarah O’Hara told the Atlanta Journal-Constitution on Wednesday that she wasn’t sure about the “specifics on what probable cause the officers had to obtain the search warrant and execute it” at Dillinger’s home.

The rapper reportedly posted his $15,000 bail after 15 hours in jail. He was charged with 12 counts of controlled substance possession and one count of having more than one ounce of marijuana in his possession.

Dillinger’s recent arrest follows after threatening rapper Kanye West via social media in April for supporting President Trump. The Dogg Pound artist called for Crips to “f**” Kanye up” when they see him.

The L.A. County Sheriff’s Dept. was reportedly looking into the incident to determine if it was a “prosecutable crime.” West allegedly placed a restraining order on the “It Might Sound Crazy” artist. However, police told the news outlet that Dillinger’s “bar room talk” wasn’t a serious threat to West.
