Ciara’s Support of Husband Russell Wilson During Seahawks Game Is Everything

Ciara has been focusing on her new music lately but that doesn’t mean she won’t take time to support her husband Russell Wilson in his career.

As the quarterback’s Seattle Seahawks team took on the Dallas Cowboys in Seattle Sunday, Ciara shared a video on her Instagram Story of her watching the game on TV in her Toronto hotel room before performing that night in a stop on the Bruno Mars 24K Magic World Tour.

“Lets’ go Seahawks, let’s go! Woo, woo!” CiCi chants as she roots on the team.

Ci’s cheering may have worked for them, too. The Seahawks won the Week 3 NFL game 24-13, making it their first win of the 2018 season.

This isn’t the first time Ciara has cheered on her hubby, by a long shot.

Not long after the couple got together in 2015, Ciara was seen on Instagram posing alongside her then-boyfriend and uploading photos with captions like, “After Practice With @DangeRussWilson Like 🙂 3’s Up! Go @SeaHawks! #12’s.”

While speaking to MTV that year, she remarked about how ready she was to cheer on the team in the stands of CenturyLink Field.

“I’m excited, it’s exciting, go Hawks! Yes, yes yes. ‘3’s up,’ that’s what I always say,” Ciara said, referring to Wilson’s jersey number.

“Let me tell you, the 12th man is real. I’ve never seen anything like this but it’s so exciting,” she added. “I got to go to one of the preseason games and the roar was deafening. It was so loud, but one of the coolest things to see. I’m excited for the guys.”

That excitement for the team has endured over the years, despite Ciara being born in Austin, Texas, and settling in Atlanta. More recently, CiCi and her son Future as well as her daughter with Wilson, Sienna, were decked out in matching Wilson Seahawks jerseys and coordinating Nike footwear.

“Let’s Go @SeaHawks Let’s Go! #3 #12 @DangeRussWilson #GameDay 💙💚💙💚,” the “Dose” singer captioned her quick clip of the family supporting the QB earlier this month.
