Congrats are in order for Lil Scrappy and his wife Bambi after the couple welcomed a baby boy on Saturday.
Their bundle of joy, Breland, escaped the womb at approximately 9:05 p.m. on Saturday, coming at at 8 lbs. 3 oz. Fans flooded the couple with prayers and words of support earlier this week, as Bambi was expected to go into labor at any moment.
“Thanks to the big God and my wife and family the young Prince#Breland is here,” Scrappy said in an Instagram post Saturday. “Happy Gday you g [sic] man. I’m so happy and blessed from this experience, thanks to my wife @adizthebam for pushing thru like a champ.”
The rapper said it only took three pushes before young Breland was out.
Bambi said the birth of her son “still feels like a dream.” This is the couple’s first child together after they suffered a miscarriage in 2014.
“#Breland is just everything 💙 thanks for all of the prayers 🙏🏾,” she wrote Instagram.
News of their baby’s arrival sent fans into a tizzy, as they were inundated with congratulatory messages.
“Wow that’s awesome!!! 3 push for a first time mom for an 8lber is amazing!!!” one fan said. “Congratulations yall!!! Take great care of him like Im sure you will and may GOD bless your newly extended family!!”
“Congrats to the both of and may God bless you,” another fan wrote, adding, “Get plenty of rest cause your going to have some sleepless nights!”
“So happy for you both!! 🔥🔥Congratulations on the Lil King!!!,” a fan commented.
The “Love and Hip Hop: Atlanta” stars have had their fair share of ups and downs in recent months. In June, Scrappy survived a near deadly car crash that left him with only a broken leg. He described the accident as a life changing event that turned him into a “new man.”
After a few surgeries, the former “Crime Mob” rapper was up and walking again as his wife nursed him back to health.
