Just like a lot of people have over the last week, Vivica A. Fox weighed in on the fight between Nicki Minaj and Cardi B. She did it during an interview on Shade45 and seemed to place more of the blame on Nicki.
“I just believe that Nicki knows how to push people’s buttons, and she does it very passive-aggressively,” said Fox. “When she does that, it was like, you keep on poking the bear and sooner or later the bear is going to react. You’re poking the bear, that’s passive-aggressive and then when the bear attacks, then all of a sudden you retreat.”
Fox also said Nicki knew the “Bodak Yellow” rhymer would eventually fly off the handle if she kept provoking her, so it was all part of a plan.
“Everybody knows that Cardi’s reactive,” Fox explained. “We seen that on the reality shows with her. She don’t take nothing. She will throw that shoe at you and most of the time it connects … But she’s got to make better decisions. She cannot mess up her brand. She can’t allow Nicki to help her mess up her brand.”
Meanwhile, Cardi responded to Nicki’s accusation that she paid DJs to play her songs years ago. It was something the “Barbie Dreams” rapper recently said on her Queen Radio show, days after the fight.
“July 29, 2016,” wrote Cardi next to footage of an old performance. “No label, no radio play, fresh out of ‘Love and Hip-Hop,’ only $200K in my bank account. My first tour. Nobody can make you feel like you cheated yourself or you don’t deserve to be where you at when you know you worked yourself to the top.”

In just 24 hours, the post has been viewed over seven million times, and people left all kinds of comments.
“@iamcardib, stop giving this devil life. Stop entertaining her angry ass. Numbers don’t lie,” one person wrote, seemingly referring to Nicki.
“You need to work on your self esteem,” wrote another. “Stop trying to be a people pleaser and stop trying to prove yourself to people. If you really know what you are you wouldn’t feel the need to, but here we are.”
Nicki hasn’t responded to Cardi’s post yet or what Vivica had to say about her.
