Iyanla Vanzant’s Session with the Braxtons to Air on Explosive Two-Part Season Finale, Photos Released

After news broke that a counseling session between the Braxton family and famed life coach Iyanla Vanzant went sideways, photos have emerged of the sit-down.

In two photos obtained by Entertainment Tonight Wednesday, Vanzant leads the family in a prayer before getting down to business and discussing their issues.

The images were reposted by the Tamar Braxton fan Instagram account Tamar Chronicles, which said Tamar had dished that things fell apart during the session. ET reported that the talk will air during the two-part finale of BFV.

Fans have reacted to the photos online.

“That’s gonna be a whole lotta whole lotta.”

“You can tell Tamar was OVER it during the prayer 🤣😭.”

“This is gonna be very very VERY EXTRA IM HERE FOR IT.”

Last week, reports surfaced claiming Vanzant, who hosts the OWN show “Iyanla: Fix My Life,” would mediate between Towanda BraxtonToni BraxtonTrina BraxtonTamar BraxtonTraci Braxton and their parents Evelyn Braxton and Michael Braxton. The intention was to get the sisters to support Traci after she decided to keep filming the show rather than walk off the set over an alleged pay dispute. When Traci continued to tape, she tapped former “The Real Housewives of Atlanta” star Phaedra Parks to join the cast.

Parks’ inclusion left the family “blindsided” according to Tamar, who previously mocked Parks for joining the show as a non-Braxton.

“I financed [the show] and it’s like, what’s jacked up is the lack of respect. And no one should be blindsided,” Tamar explained on Instagram Live in August. “No one should have somebody else on the show that they didn’t approve of and didn’t work hard for. And I haven’t seen any episodes — please don’t ask me. I have nothing against Phaedra.”

Other reports said the counseling did not go well and the relationship between the sisters has further soured.
