Tamar Braxton remains booked and busy. As she continues to sort through the drama of “Braxton Family Values,” the singer is preparing to join a new BET competition series set to air this fall.
Her fan Instagram account Tamar Chronicles reported she’s set to appear as a coach on the hybrid docu-music series due titled “The Next Big Thing.” Initially announced as part of the network’s 2018-2019 slate of shows in April, the program will see artists perform at their best in order to secure a record deal with six major labels.
The contestants will be coached by music icons in a developmental bootcamp where they’ll be challenged on how prepared they are performance-wise, Deadline reported. The show’s executive producers include rapper and music producer Swizz Beatz as well as veteran A&R executive Tina Davis, who formerly managed Chris Brown during the height of his career.
Fans are applauding Braxton’s latest rumored career move.
“I think Tamar will be excellent at this.”
