Tami Roman isn’t letting her battle with diabetes slow her down. The “Basketball Wives” star remains hard at work on the set of what may be her new movie, set for release later this year.

It’s probable that Roman is back on the set of the film “Fall Girls,” which will co-star Erica Peeples, “Love and Hip Hop Hollywood” star Paris Phillips and “Love and Hip Hop Miami” star Amara La Negra.
Roman is managing to remain booked and busy all while managing her diabetes, which has resulted in a drastic change in her appearance. She’s since been fighting back against critics who slammed her slender frame.
One detractor came in the form of a nurse, who accused the reality TV star of not quitting smoking and drinking as she battles diabetes.
“I can’t even take her serious when she chain smokes and drinks,” the nurse said. “As a nurse, I have seen first hand the damage of having diabetes and SMOKING can do.”

Roman had explained to BBW co-star Jackie Christie that her weight loss had come after she took control of her health.
“I’m 48 years old. You know what I’m saying? So this is how my body reacts to me making proper choices with my diet.”
However, fans applauded Roman’s appearance on her latest IG post, with many remarking about how “gorgeous” she looked.
