T.I. Demands Trial and Pleads Not Guilt to Security Guard Assault

Rapper T.I. submitted his official plea and requested to go to trial to beat the current case pending against him.

The “Troubleman” rapper was accused of threatening physical harm against his gated community’s security guard Euwan James in July and was arrested for simple assault, public intoxication, and disorderly conduct,” according to the Blast.

T.I. told the news source he never even touched the guard and believed the confrontation was driven by “White cops in a very white area.” James, on the other hand, claimed he “felt threatened.” Page Six reported James was fired after the incident.

However, the Atlanta artist entered a “not guilty” plea on recent legal documents and asked to go to trial. He’s also requested that all three charges be dropped against him and claimed there was no “true threat” that would justify the current legal proceedings.

The hearing for T.I.’s case is November 20. Nevertheless, James has been terminated following the incident.
