“Basketball Wives” star Tami Roman has had enough of the telemarketers who wake her up before 9 a.m. each morning.
In a relateable Instagram post made Thursday, Aug. 23, Roman roasted salespeople who call her up well before she’s gotten enough beauty rest.
“Please Lord let ‘scam likely’ learn to call AFTER 9 a.m,” the image read. Roman co-signed it by writing, “I’m still sleep damn it! I don’t understand BS or Bills before 9 a.m.”
Fans were right there along with her and echoed the sentiments.
“Okay! They call all day, can’t block them they use different numbers 🤔.”
“Omg girl they called me this morning I was like really. Lmao. Seriously.”
“Yassssssss they be calling me way too early AF then be yelling in my mofo ears!!!!!”
“Not even after 9 I received a call at 3 a.m. this morning 🙄😩scared the crap out of me…. this has to STOP!!!”
“Please lawd let them learn to STAAAWWP calling period.”
Others just offered some tips about how to get the calls to stop altogether.
“Just answer the phone and say Vernon Keel Funeral Home where is the location of the body. Then [yell] out ‘hold on guys gotta another body.’ They’ll hang up and no calls from that number again. My scam calls have decreased.”
“Just pick up the phone and breathe, they will hang up.”
“Someone just told me that when scammers call her she answers the phone and just starts blowing a whistle in their ear 🤣🤣🤣 Dying to try this next time scam likely calls!!”
While Roman sends up prayers to avoid speaking to telemarketers, she also made time to give her two cents on Phaedra Parks joining WEtv’s “Braxton Family Values” with her “Bonnet Chronicles” bit.
“I woke up a little aggy this morning because I was reading the blogs and I saw a headline that said Phaedra Braxton and I got annoyed instantaneously!” Roman said. “‘Cause I’m like, how y’all gon’ call Phaedra [Parks] Phaedra Braxton when I’ve been an honorary Braxton for as long as I can remember. I got the ‘T’ name and everything. Tami Braxton, it just fits, it just works, it should have been me.”
