‘Love and Hip Hop’ Karlie Redd Tries to Secure Wedding Special and Spin-Off

VH1 cast-member Karlie Redd has big plans in mind for her happily ever after with her new fiance Maurice “Mo” Fayne.

The “Love and Hip Hop: Atlanta” reality star is reportedly attempting to acquire a deal for her very own wedding special and spin-off show, the Jasmine Brand reported. Redd got engaged in July to her short-term boyfriend and now she’s trying to secure the bag.

A source told the news outlet, “Her team is trying really hard to make her engagement to Maurice ‘Mo’ Fayne more than just a storyline. … They’re trying to have a special documenting her wedding that turns into her own spin-off.”

Only a hand selection of VH1 stars have had a spin-off or wedding special including Yandy Smith and Mendecees Harris, Stevie J. and K. Michelle.

Redd has been on every season of “LHHATL” since season 1 and has a pretty large fan base.

The reality celeb was surprisingly proposed to by Fayne during her single release party for her song “Karlie Ferrari.” He told the star, “I just want to tell you that I love you, and I’m ready to spend the rest of my life with you.”

Fans were extremely happy for Redd and congratulated the couple on their engagement.

“You deserve all the happiness. God is making good on his promises. Marriage is his thang,” one person wrote.

“Congrats karlie love u glad your happy baby girl u deserve everything in your beautiful world now its time two make a baby lol,” another fan said.

One of Redd’s Instagram followers commented, “Congrats boo. I know it’s been a long time coming on this one. May the great Lord bless you as you enter this new stage in your life💛.”

Redd and Fayn have been keeping their relationship pretty low key from the public eye. However, the VH1 star uploaded a selfie of she and her beau in China on Wednesday.
