Tamar Braxton Finally Sells Cali Mansion at a Staggering Loss

Singer Tamar Braxton has finally sold the Calabasas home she shared with estranged husband Vincent Herbert, but for much less than the original asking price.

According to Variety, Braxton sold the home for $9.25 million which is less than what she paid. In 2013, the couple purchased the 7 bedrooms, 9 bathrooms property for $10.5 million. After their marriage fell apart, the couple listed the property in October 2017 for $15.999 million. After multiple liens and almost foreclosure, their asking price dipped to $13.995 million. When the couple failed to sell the home for that price, they settled for $1.25 million less than that $10.5 million they paid in 2013.

TMZ reported in October that the couple put the home up for sale after filing for divorce. “[I’m] upset about the lies claiming she doesn’t care about me,” Herbert told HipHop Hollywood. He continued, “That’s my wife. I’m really sick of the lies. Sick of all the blogs.”

During the same time of the divorce filing, and the house being put up for sale, Braxton released her most recent album “Bluebird of Happiness” which was to be her last one in order to focus on her marriage. “There are a lot of things that I want to do, and a lot of things that are in the works,” the singer told Entertainment Tonight. She continued, “There’s a lot of things that are going on in my relationship and me being close to this music industry, and whatever I can do to eliminate all of the stress and problems off of my relationship, I would rather do that.”
