Tami Roman’s ‘Basketball Wives’ Reunion Outfit Is Turning Heads

Tami Roman just gave “Basketball Wives” fans a tease of her look for the season 7 reunion episode and they cannot get enough.

The reality TV star on Monday, Aug. 6 debuted her jumpsuit that was a catsuit in more ways than one. Roman looked fit and fierce in a leopard-print ensemble, complete with huge shoulder pads and black pointed toe high heels. Her sleek black bob, smokey eye and a nude lip completed the look for an appearance worthy of praise.

Roman’s look was pulled together by celebrity stylist JStayReady, consultant UDI and makeup artist Terrell Mullin.

“Every ‘next’ level of your life requires a different you…📸 @hightopbully,” Roman wrote in the caption.

In response, fans eagerly commented with praise for the booked and busy star.

“Yesssss Tami …Slay.”

“You look good boo👏🏾👏🏾‼️”

“I literally don’t have the energy to break it down other than team @tamiroman.”

“Black Barbie ❤️.”

“Yasssssssss BAWDY.”

“SIS 😍😍you SNATCHED my wig hunny. Yaaassss @tamiroman you look beyond amazing ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️👑.”

“@tamiroman You look GREAT ma’am! So many people have been so negative towards your weight loss but in my opinion, you look GREAT! Keep up the good work 👌.”

It’s true that Roman has been targeted by fans and her “Basketball Wives” co-star alike over her rapid weight transformation.

“You’re lookin’ like a crackhead these days,” Evelyn Lozada fired off at Roman this season.

Fans have been equally as harsh.

“Ummmm… I don’t follow regularly and I’m not on IG a lot but when this picture came up I was shocked. She looks emaciated. I understand the health issue but I have questions?!?,” one fan asked.

Still, Roman has maintained that her new slimmer figure is simply a result of taking control of her struggle with diabetes.

“I didn’t lose weight, I lost my willingness to die. DIABETES IS NO JOKE!” Roman wrote on Instagram in June. “I detox, suppress my appetite and make better food choices. So enjoy yourself laughing, leaving negative comments & calling me a ‘crackhead’… but I have two beautiful daughters and I’m gon’ live for them by ANY means necessary. 💯”

Democracy needs journalism it can trust.

This election season, the stakes are higher than usual — and so is the pressure on newsrooms to soften their coverage, stay quiet, or just disappear. Independent reporting, the kind that answers to readers instead of advertisers or political pressure, matters more in a moment like this, not less.

For over 14 years, Atlanta Black Star has stayed independent and reader-funded. We have no corporate owner and no shareholders telling us what to cover or how to cover it. That independence is also our biggest vulnerability: nothing protects it except readers choosing to fund it directly.

Newspaper ad revenue has fallen more than 80% since 2005, and local newsrooms are closing at a rate of roughly two a week nationwide. When outlets go under in a moment like this, it's rarely the independent, reader-funded ones that get to stick around.

We know a request for support isn't why you came here. But without readers choosing to fund this work directly, the depth of reporting we can do at home and abroad shrinks along with everyone else's. If you're not in a position to give, that doesn't change how much we value you as a reader.

If you are able to, a recurring contribution does more for us than a single one-time gift, because it lets us plan the next investigation instead of just the next invoice. It takes about 30 seconds, no long form, no account. Thank you for continuing to support independent journalism and freedom of the press.
