Shaunie O’Neal is doing her best to stay above the drama with her newest Instagram post.
The “Basketball Wives” star on Saturday, July 21 wrote the following caption to accompany her Instagram picture of a dark-skinned woman in a beanie gazing into the camera.

Fans swiftly flocked to the post and backed up the inspirational post about self-worth.

The message is an uplifting one for O’Neal, who has seen her share of drama this season on the VH1 reality series she executive produces.
During a June episode, Tami Roman called out Jennifer Williams for spreading a rumor about Evelyn Lozada sleeping with one of O’Neal’s exes.
“So Tami and I had a conversation about Evelyn sleeping with your ex,” Williams said during a retreat Roman threw that was meant to spread positivity, putting things out on the table.
Through tears, Lozada denied she had anything to do with it. When watching the episode back, the “Shaunie’s Home Court” star questioned if she had anyone she could truly count on.
“Damn who is my friend? #Basketballwives,” she tweeted at the time.
And as a result of what transpired, it seemed O’Neal was readying to ditch Los Angeles all together as she asked fans where’d they’d like to see “Basketball Wives” branch off to next.
Meanwhile, O’Neal had been accused of turning on Roman for the sake of ratings. A video posted on Instagram earlier this month saw O’Neal soaking up some pool time with Lozada. In the past, O’Neal has sided with Roman, calling her a “sweetheart” while she deemed Lozada a “bully.”
