Tami Roman has several new endeavors on her plate and fans are wondering if that spells her exit from “Basketball Wives.”
The star, who was part of a scandal on the VH1 series for knowing a long-held rumor about how Shaunie O’Neal’s ex allegedly slept with fellow cast member Evelyn Lozada, has new TV and movie ventures coming up.
One is the film “Fall Girls,” which the Jasmine Brand reported will star Roman, “Love and Hip Hop Miami” star Amara La Negra, and Erica Peeples. It began filming in Los Angeles this week and the movie is set for release later this year but a network has yet to be attached to the project.
She’s also been steadily working on her Tidal scripted miniseries “Bonnet Chronicles,” which is based on the reality star’s Instagram character “Petty Betty,” the character’s fledgling comedy career and her family. Plus, Roman also has the previously announced late-night variety show team up with rapper Snoop Dogg called “Get Into It…Forizzle” in the works.
So with Roman’s burgeoning acting career, fans have been doubting she’ll return to BBW for an eighth season.

Unlike her castmates, she hasn’t been tweeting a play by play about any of the drama unfolding. However, she did tweet addressing some feedback she glimpsed about her on the reality show last week and at the time, she said she wasn’t ditching BBW.
