When T.I. thought to pass along some info about why men don’t marry, his wife Tameka “Tiny” Cottle hit back with her feelings on the matter.
On Saturday, June 16, Tip posted a portion of a 2015 Fox News opinion piece on his Instagram page. The article, written by Suzanne Venker, outlined a couple of reasons why some men don’t feel motivated to make things legally official with their ladies.
“Because there’s nothing in it for them: What exactly does marriage offer men today? ‘Men know there’s a good chance they’ll lose their friends, their respect, their space, their sex life, their money and — if it all goes wrong — their family,’ says Helen Smith, Ph.D., author of ‘Men on Strike.’ ‘They don’t want to enter into a legal contract with someone who could effectively take half their savings, pension and property when the honeymoon period is over. Men aren’t wimping out by staying unmarried or being commitment-phobes. They’re being smart.’
“Unlike women, men lose all power after they say ‘I do. Their masculinity dies, too.”

But regardless of the reasoning T.I. offered in an apparent brace for those who’d disagree with him, many people lashed out at him — including Tiny.

“Insecurity in a man is not our issue. Stroking their ego is not our job or obligation. If they cannot balance their social life and career with their marriage, maybe they are the issue. Marriage requires 100% from both if two people want genuine happiness.”

She also said her piece in her Instagram story writing, “Put some respect on my name, B—-!”
Additionally, T.I.’s sister, Precious Harris, and Tiny’s niece, Tamara Whitaker, chimed in.
But in response to the Xscape member, fans clowned Tiny for sticking by T.I.’s side despite infidelity that made her file for divorce before ultimately reconciling within the last year.
“Queen… this man you call husband has NO respect for you. He can’t even cheat on [the] low. He’s always on front street with it. Hell..he showed [that].”
