Despite the drama that Peter Gunz has caused both “Love & Hip Hop” stars Tara Wallace and Amina Buddafly, the former has decided to take the high road.
Wallace and Buddafly buried the hatchet over Gunz stepping out on wife Buddafly and having two kids with Wallace, whom he met 18 years ago, during their marriage. The two women made up for the sake of Gunz three children on season seven of the Vh1 series last year.
That makes it a little less surprising, then, that Wallace helped Gunz’s soon-to-be-ex-wife promote her new album. And with all the water under the bridge, Wallace made time to joke about the old drama between them while promoting Amina’s new album, “Mother.”
“Hello, Barbara this is Shirley…๐คฆ๐พโโ๏ธ๐คฃ (I had to beat yโall to it)๐ฆ๐ฝ๐ฆ๐ฝ๐ง๐ฝ๐ฆ๐ฝ๐ง๐ฝย Go cop #Mother @aminabuddafly new album!” Wallace said tongue-in-cheek.
The caption references the 1974 Shirley Brown song “Woman to Woman” where the singer calls her boyfriend’s other woman, Barbara, a call to let her know she’s his main chick.

Since the drama between Wallace and Buddafly got put to rest, Buddayfly confirmed to the Jasmine Brand at the start of the year that she and Gunz were divorcing.
“Itโs pretty simple: Peter and I have been separated living separate lives for two years now, that is a long time and a lot can happen in 2 years,” she said in January. “It took a while, but I got over him in that time by focusing on me and my children. Iโve accepted the situation for what it was two years ago when I left town.”
Meanwhile, in response to the joke Wallace posted, several fans have applauded the women for finding humor in past issues.
