She Was The Youngest Woman to Perform at the Oscars

Making her first appearance at one of Hollywood’s most prestigious awards shows, Aaliyah became the youngest female performer there when she sang the ballad, “Journey to the Past” at the 1998 ceremony. She was just 19 at the time when she belted the tune from the animated film “Anastasia.”
