Steve Harvey Accused of Making ‘Racist’ Comment on New Year’s Eve

Comedian Steve Harvey kicked off his first New Year’s Eve special on Fox with some controversy. The talk show host braved the bitter cold in Times Square Sunday, Dec. 31 and became the focus of Twitter for a few reasons. But the most divisive reason came when he complimented three young Black boys.

“Three little Black dudes singing the song better than all the white people I know!” he exclaims after the kids’ performance.

The comment caught the attention of many conservative viewers who didn’t appreciate the remark, which they deemed “racist.”
