Google Doodle Celebrates the Birth of Hip Hop with Interactive Turntable

Continuing its trend of celebrating Black culture, Google unveiled a tribute to the birth of hip hop with an interactive turntable.

Before users can mix their own tunes, a visit to the search engine’s home page launches them into a video narrated by former “Yo! MTV Raps” host Fab Five Freddy. Then, folks can choose from a collection of classic tunes to remix to their hearts’ content.

Now, some are getting hella distracted.

Meanwhile, many are straight-up feeling like legit DJs—or something like that.

Some simply want to show off their stellar (virtual) spinning skills.
