T.I. Fires Back at Millennials Who Mocked His Tupac-Inspired Wardrobe

Not one to mince words, T.I. lashed out at millennials who mocked his Tupac-inspired wardrobe and called out their lack of respect for prior generations.

T.I. appeared at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame 2017 in Brooklyn, N.Y. Friday, April 7, and performed “Keep Ya Head Up.” Other artists who honored the late Tupac included Alicia Keys, Snoop Dogg and Treach, but social media focused on T.I.’s replica of Pac’s outfit from the cover of a 1996 issue of The New York Times Magazine, which also featured Death Row Records labelmate Snoop and then-CEO Suge Knight.

“Guess you just had to be there…. Y’all young, forever commentating, over-opinionated m—–f—— got s— to say ALWAYS!!! When the Biggie s— went left because a m—–f—–from Y’ALL Generation forgot the words, y’all had a f—–‘ FIT!!!,” T.I. said, referring to Rich Homie Quan’s slip-up at the Vh1 Hip-Hop Honors last year.

“A real G was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall Of Fame, and everybody who was alive during this era was satisfied,” T.I. said. “And THATS ALL THAT MATTERS!!!! This is OUR ERA…We determine what’s what wit THIS S— HERE!!! So F— WHOEVER DONT LIKE IT!!!!”

T.I., also known as Tip, was the subject of humorous memes, even from millennials who understood the inspiration.
