Big Things Popping: Drake, Lil Wayne Announce 31-City Tour

Music’s resident power couple, Jay Z and Beyonce, already announced their joint tour, and now so has rap’s biggest bromance. This summer, Lil Wayne and Drake will co-headline the aptly titled Drake vs. Lil Wayne Tour, a 31-date jaunt spanning from Aug. 8 through Sept. 27. Along the way, they’ll hit up venues in Chicago, New York, Atlanta and beyond. Oh, and that is the amazing, Street Fighter-inspired tour poster above.

The two most recently collaborated on Believe Me, the lead single off Wayne’s purported “retirement album” Tha Carter V.

Corporate support for Black media has always been thin.
