Mathew Knowles Sued by Accounting Firm For About $65,000

0311-Celeb-word-matthew-knowlesAn accounting firm is taking Mathew Knowles, father of singer Beyonce Knowles-Carter, to court for unpaid fees.

TMZ reported that a credit bureau has filed suit claiming Knowles owes about $65,000 to an accounting firm he hired to handle his finances. The firm handles finances for high-end entertainers and athletes.

Knowles used to be a major figure in the entertainment world when his daughter, Beyonce Knowles, was his number one client. When Beyonce dropped him in favor of managing her own career in 2011, his financial situation took a hit.

This suit comes on the heels of accusations from his youngest child’s mother that he owed child support back in December. Alexsandra Wright, the mother of his youngest child, sued Knowles for $24,000 in back child support — but he claims he was the victim of a clerical error and is actually paid up.
