Rihanna left people in awe with her last video “Pour It Up” which featured some advanced level twerking. Now Rih Rih is preparing to drop another hot visual for her song “What Now” from her album Unapologetic. Rihanna posted a few snippets over the weekend of the making, but now she’s giving fans a full behind-the-scenes look. According to missinfo.tv:
“After making watchers drool with ‘Pour It Up,’ Rihanna goes to a much darker side in her upcoming new video ‘What Now.’ The pop star takes us on set of The Uprising Creative-directed visual, which filmed in Thailand during her “Diamonds World Tour” this summer. Rihanna goes for a more gothic look, in the exorcism-themed visual, which was filmed over the span of 22 hours. ‘Red carpet goth,’ says RiRi when describing one of her two outfits in between takes.”
Rihanna has started a countdown for the video, which will be released on November 15 and she’s definitely going for that darker/goth theme. As reported by mtv.com:
“According to Rihanna, the video for “What Now” is set to be released on #FRIHDAY (see what she did there?), and from the two style snaps she shared, it’s going to be RULL angsty. AND, if the lyrics of the song are any indication, the reason she’s squatting in that corner looking so angry in her heavy black eye makeup praaahbably has something to do with some unresolved issues with a certain *achem* trouble-making ex. But that’s just a guess, of course.”
