Drake’s new tour was the talk of the music world this week, but for feuds rather than performances. Drake reportedly fired rapper Future after hearing comments the ATL rapper made about Drake’s new album. Future, in turn, was suing Drake for $1.5 million in lost wages for being kicked out the tour. Now the rappers have put their differences aside and the Who Would Like A Tour? kicked off in Pittsburgh on Friday.
According to missinfo.tv.:
“Drake’s set was full of high energy, blasting through cuts from his Nothing Was the Same LP including ‘Tuscan Leather,‘ ‘Wu-Tang Forever,’ ‘Own It,’ ‘Pound Cake,’ and more. The loudest screams from the evening were saved for Wiz Khalifa, who made a surprise appearance to perform the song “Black & Yellow.”
“Jhené Aiko later joined Drizzy to perform the cuts ‘From Time’ and ‘Too Much’ for the first time ever. Putting their recent discrepancies aside, Future returned on stage during Drake’s set for a medley of his own songs including ‘Turn on the Lights,’ ‘Same Damn Time,’ ‘Love Me,’ and his latest single ‘Honest.’
“During ‘305 to My City,’ the Toronto-native elevated above the sold-out crowd on a circular stage extension which rose high to the rafters. He closed with a medley of songs off his No. 1 album in ‘Worst Behaviour,’ ‘The Language,‘ ‘All Me,’ and ended the magical night with ‘Started From the Bottom.'”
