New Reality Shows On Tap From TV One, Bravo

Thank goodness somebody finally heard us complaining about how there just wasn’t enough reality TV shows on the air! Checking in with the Real Housewives all over the nation, getting the inside scoop on Love & Hip Hop, Keeping Up with the Kardashians, learning how to become a Basketball Wife, and begging to be a part of Honey Boo Boo’s family just wasn’t enough….well not really, but those who do care, you know who you are!

In order to quench your thirst for more reality programming TV One is taking the R&B Divas to L.A and Bravo is bringing in a cast of doctors for Married to Medicine.

R&B Divas: LA is the spin off to the original R&B Divas series that took place in Atlanta. With the city of Atlanta bringing so much drama to TV screens all over the nation, TV One decided to cash in on their success and put together another group of singing divas with attitude for a spin off out on the west coast.

The official cast has finally been announced and it includes a rather surprising line up of ladies who have been out of the spotlight for quite some time now.

Chante Moore, Lil’ Mo, Claudette Ortiz, Michel’le, Dawn Richardson, and Kelly Price will be the divalicious songstresses taking over the streets of L.A this fall.

We’re hoping TV One has some serious advertisers and promotional techniques lined up for the new season because, let’s be honest, these ladies probably aren’t going to pull in a huge audience on their own.

Kelly Price will probably have a good number of fans tuning in, especially those in hopes of hearing some more details about Whitney Houston’s last days alive. Price was very good friend with the R&B legend and is one of the last people to see the songstress before she died.

As for Dawn, people will probably get bored after she finally explains what the beef is with En Vogue.

Not too many fans have expressed much interest in Chante Moore’s divorce from Kenny Lattimore but it still might make for good TV if the writers manage to spice things up a bit (yes there are writers in reality TV… not so real now is it?).

Anyway, the R&B Divas spin-off didn’t sound anywhere near as interesting as Bravo’s new reality show which will follow the lives of celebrity doctors or the wives of famous doctors – interesting, right?
