The Super Bowl halftime show is one of the most anticipated sports events of the year, and this is especially the case since the award winning singer Beyonce Knowles will be headlining this year’s concert.
Let’s not mention how unconfirmed reports about the entertainer plans to reunite with her band-mates of Destiny’s Child, Kelly Rowland & Michele Williams, have sent the excitement surrounding the performance through the roof.
However, after the Inauguration produced Beyonce-gate, Instagram postings of Beyonce rehearsing solo, and Michele telling MTV News on Thursday “unfortunately, I honestly can’t say,” when asked about the reunion, fans are confused about what really will be going down on Feb. 3 at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome.
Fortunately, a song list for the Super Bowl 2013 halftime show has reportedly been leaked that supposedly confirms the Destiny’s Child reunion is in full effect in New Orleans.
According to Us Weekly, Beyonce, Kelly, and Michelle will be joining forces to perform some of their old hits :
Knowles, 31, will perform her hit “Crazy in Love” during a solo set to kick off the show. Midway through the act, she’ll be joined by Rowland, 31, and Williams, 32, to sing a medley of their biggest hits starting with “Bills, Bills, Bills,” “Survivor,” and ending with their new track “Nuclear.”
The celebrity and entertainment magazine also quotes a source who says Beyonce is eager to reverse the fallout from her lip-sync scandal at President Obama’s inauguration. So, if you’re wondering if she’ll be using her prerecorded voice at the Super Bowl halftime show, don’t count on it.
Knowles is reportedly so “bitterly disappointed” by the reaction to her lip-synced performance of the American National Anthem she wants to deliver the most unforgettable performance at Super Bowl 2013.
