Britney Split Rumors: Jason Trawick to Leave After X Factor?

Britney Spears and fiance Jason Trawick are facing split rumors, according to multiple reports.

“Jason has told Britney’s entire family that he’s planning to leave her, so that Britney will have a support system when he breaks the bad news.”

Trawick has been Spears’s first serious relationship since her tumultuous marriage to Kevin Federline from 2004-2007.  Widely credited as a stabilizing influence, Trawick was initially one of Spears’s agents, and then the two began dating in early 2010.

Trawick is reportedly waiting to break it off until after the current season of X Factor ends, so Spears doesn’t have to deal with the breakup in the middle of the live shows. A superficially nice gesture, until we remember Trawick is one of Spears’s personal and financial conservators, having recently joined the conservatorship established by Spears’s father after her 2007 breakdown. So, if Britney freaks following the breakup, Trawick has a lot to lose. Touching, really.

The split rumors follow the heels of another speculation that the two have already called off their much hyped wedding, planned since their engagement last summer. The two had reportedly been waiting until the end of X Factor to wed in a a super private, secluded ceremony.

A source told Inquisitr.com,  “Britney and Jason had planned to get married at the end of December, but they have been fighting non-stop so the wedding has now been called off. They are telling their friends it’s being postponed, but they will probably never make it down the aisle. Britney doesn’t think Jason is any fun and resents him because he acts more like a second father than a romantic partner, or equal.”

Apparently, the feelings go both ways because Trawick feels “like he is Britney’s babysitter” and can’t imagine himself in that role for the rest of his life.

Another Britney source is less sure. “I haven’t heard anything about [the split], but I do know they are going on vacation together for the holidays,” said the second insider to Inquisitr.com.

Only time will tell what’s in store for these two, but it seems like a stressful holiday season for the Spears family regardless.
