Rihanna Bares It All, Again, for GQ Magazine "Man of the Year" Issue

Congratulations to Rihanna for gracing the cover of GQ Magazine’s “Man of the Year” issue. Just when you think you’ve seen her in most raw form, she bares it all for GQ and gives a candid interview covering everything from Chris Brown to her being considered a sex symbol. While her pictures are sexy and leave little to the imagination, she’s not completely bare. However, Rihanna is no stranger to getting naked in front of the camera. From her sexy cover art for her upcoming album “Diamonds” to her January 2010 cover of GQ magazine, this Barbados beauty is comfortable in her own skin.

Her first cover of GQ Magazine in 2010 featured her as a blonde, posed topless in leather shorts. She was promoting her release “Rated R” and the cover reflected that mood. During that time, she spoke candidly about her ending her relationship with Chris Brown after the domestic violence incident that publicly tore the couple apart. Her words then, “It took a lot of strength to pull out of that relationship. To finally officially cut it off. It was like night and day. It was two different worlds. It was the world I lived for two years and then having the strength to say, ‘I’m gonna step into my own world. Start over.’”

The July 2012 cover of UK Esquire Magazine featured a still Blonde Rihanna once again topless for her interview with Johnny Davis. While the rest of the photo shoot consisted of the megastar posed in a mesh swimsuit with fatigue cut-off short, the sexy star showcased her confidence in a series of provocative poses. Again, during the interview she could not escape the Chris Brown questions; especially since their collaboration on the smash hit “Cake” was released earlier that year. Reportedly, the Grammy Award winner was not happy to address the reasons behind the collaboration and had no problem saying so.

During that interview, a reluctant Rihanna did offer up some telling details about how she viewed the duet and her personal history with Brown. “Okay. In a completely professional environment. And on a complete professional note. I mean, if I went back to him [as a girlfriend], then that’s a whole different discussion. And if I ever do, then that’s something that y’all have to talk to me about when – if – that ever happens. Until then, look at it for what it is. I think a lot of people jumped to an assumption that was incorrect and they ended up looking stupid.”

What a difference time can make. Rihanna and Chris Brown have reportedly began pursuing a friendship, and possibly more, just this year.
