Are you offended by Rihanna and Chris Brown reuniting? Well don’t be, because it’s “Nobodies Business,” and they aren’t afraid to let you know. Irony, anyone? On Rihanna’s aptly titled upcoming album Unapologetic, the unofficial couple collaborated on a song entitled “Nobodies Business.” If nothing else, these two are serious about presenting a very public united front to their fans; naysayers be damned. And, it’s nobody’s business. Although some might say that once you record and release a tell-all video about your love triangle to the public (looking at you Chris Brown), the business becomes everyone’s.
Rihanna, very publicly, proclaims her affection for the Grammy Award winning Brown on the track. Her lyrics include: “I sing it to the world, baby give me something/ Imma be your girl, I wanna make you mine/ And it ain’t nobodies business/ It ain’t nobodies business/ It ain’t nobodies business/ It ain’t nobodies business/ Just mine, and my baby.”
If this dynamic duo really want their reunion to be private, they sure have a funny way of showing it. From a recent interview, though, it seems like Rihanna understands why some people cannot accept her new friendship with Chris Brown. She’s commented that, “The world hasn’t let go. They haven’t seen any progress in our friendship…They’re not on the inside. They can’t see what I see.”
