Lil Wayne Suffers Seizure, Forces Plane to Make Emergency Landing

Lil Wayne reportedly suffered from seizure-like symptoms during a flight on a private jet yesterday afternoon, forcing the plane to make an emergency landing at an undisclosed location in Texas.

Wayne was taken to a local hospital, where he was treated for several hours before being released at about 6 p.m., according to TMZ. Weezy’s rep wouldn’t release any information about the incident, but a source told TMZ that Wayne is not “doing better.”

Just four days earlier, Wayne was a main attraction at the San Francisco Giants playoff game on Sunday night in Game Six of the National League Championship Series against the St. Louis Cardinals. Wayne sang “Take Me Out to the Ball Game” during the seventh inning stretch. Wayne arrived in an entourage so large it took three SUVs to transport them to the game. He was there to see his childhood friend, Giants infielder Ryan Theriot.

Wayne is about to release his 10th solo album I Am Not a Human Being II in December. He recently told MTV News that the album will feature tracks with Kanye West.

“Yeah he got some music on there. It’s crazy, actually I don’t want to give too much up but he’s got a big hand in the album, you’ll see.”

Wayne also said he had worked with the legendary Dr. Dre on nearly 100 tracks over time, but couldn’t say when and if fans would hear them.

“I’ve always worked with Dre,” Wayne said. “I’m not sure if you guys know how Dre works. Dre always send you a song, so I done probably did like 90 songs for Dre. You just never know which one he gonna put out.”

On the election front, Weezy said he’s been following the election, but he can’t do anything about it.

“Following it? Yes, I am… Leaning one way? No, I’m not,” he told MTV News earlier this month from his tour bus in Las Vegas. “I’m not leaning towards no one only because I can’t. I can’t vote. Unfortunately, I’m an ex-con.”
