The rumored love triangle between Rihanna, Chris Brown, and Brown’s most recent ex-girlfriend Karrueche Tran has apparently dragged their friends into the mix, with two women claiming to be Tran & Rihanna’s respective “BFFs” getting into a fight over twitter. Melissa Forde, long been identified as one of Rihanna’s best friends since childhood, used a racial slur in response to Instagram user @ycsm17, who Forde believed to be one of Karrueche’s friends posting under a fake profile.
Forde, posting under her own account mforde11, had addressed previously addressed her followers in defense of Rihanna when @ycsm17 claimed that the singer had lost all dignity and respect before insulting Forde. Forde responded, referring to Tran as “rice cake,” a slur referencing Karrueche’s Asian heritage.
‘You can be rice cake’s friend I don’t give a f***, but keep up all this disrespectful talk and while your fake profile having azz is typing on instagram MEE Melissa T Forde will be the one knocking on your door asking you to come talk face to face!’
The post garnered no response, but Rihanna apparently caught wind of the trouble and tweeted: “Melissa T Fooooorde! Stop it!!!”
