A bevy of new photos from Iron Man 3 have been released, presumably in anticipation of the release of the official trailer on Tuesday (which, you may recall, had its own teaser come out yesterday (guuuuhhhhh teasers for trailers)). These images come courtesy of an official Marvel Facebook page, USA Today, and EW. The movie also now has a teaser poster, released by Slashfilm. Take a gander at them below. You can see Tony Stark (Robert Downey Jr.) with some bluetoothy doodad, the Iron Patriot armor, whose plot function remains ambiguous at this time, some romantic moments between Tony and Pepper Potts (Gwyneth Paltrow), and, most interestingly, the first glimpse of Ben Kingsley as main villain The Mandarin. The movie will be released May 3rd of next year. Shane Black onboard as director has me excited. How about you?
