Rosario Dawson Defends Rihanna, Karrueche Tran Feels Betrayed

Rosario Dawson is urging people to just leave Rihanna alone as she seems to rekindle her relationship with Chris Brown at the cost of his now ex-girlfriend Karrueche Tran.

Whether or not Dawson actually supports the relationship or not is uncertain, but she definitely feels like people should stop criticizing RiRi and show her support instead.

“Support is the critical part of it, not giving criticism, not being judgmental towards people,” Dawson said. “I’m not going to blame the victim in this situation and say you should be doing something.”

The 33-year-old actress seems to be looking at the bigger picture, and pointed out that if people keep coming at the Bajan beauty then it will only discourage other victims of domestic violence from speaking out or getting help.

“I’m sure being berated for not doing something is not necessarily going to make it happen better or more,” she continued. “It prevents other people in the future who might be publicly exposed for being in a domestic violence situation – that’s going to prevent them from stepping up as well.”

The “Sin City” actress would love nothing more than for fans to lay off the “Where Have You Been” crooner, but it doesn’t seem like many fans are taking her side.

“Love is great – especially when you repeatedly get punched in the face. So sad. Good Luck Rihanna – I’m not in your corner anymore,” one Huffington Post reader wrote.

Over the weekend the domestic violence victim has suddenly changed in the public’s eye from being a victim to being a part of the problem.

“I can’t believe Rihanna is getting back w/ Chris Brown. Really? How can u take back someone that beat the crap out of u!? #greatrolemodel,” one of the “S&M” singer’s followers tweeted.

Despite the violent attack back in 2009, a few Twitter fans are actually in full support of the R&B bad boy and the former good girl getting together.

“I really almost gave up on #Chrihanna waited for so long. Love them so much,” one fan tweeted yesterday.

Unfortunately, there is another victim suffering from Brown’s behavior – his girlfriend of almost two years, Karrueche Tran.

The duo officially split after the “Don’t Wake Me Up” singer confirmed that he isn’t letting anyone stop his “friendship” with his ex.

“I have decided to be single to focus on my career. I love Karrueche very much, but I don’t want to see her hurt over my friendship with Rihanna. I’d rather be single allowing us to both be happy in our lives.”

The aspiring model emerged from her hotel looking tired and her slightly swollen eyes seemed to suggest she had been crying her night away.

Tran hugged an unidentified friend before hurrying to the airport to get out of Rihanna and Chris’s rendezvous state, New York.

The young singer/rapper from Virginia claims that the relationship ended so both parties could be happy, but Tran is still having some difficulties getting a smile on her face after realizing she has been made a fool publicly.

While all of America speculated that the “Don’t Judge Me” crooner was shacking up with his former flame, Tran was the only person who had faith that her relationship with Brown would work out.

Now that she can’t deny the signs any longer, sources have revealed that she finally believes that her man was hooking up with his ex for weeks.

“KT feels betrayed by Chris because he had promised her that she was the only woman in his life… especially when she probed him about his feelings toward Rihanna,” a source close to Tran told TMZ.

The sources also pointed out that Rihanna is a bit of a homewrecker as they claimed Karrueche and Chris’s relationship “was great until Rihanna let Brown back into her life.”

Forgiveness is a wonderful thing, but how far should it go in the case of domestic violence?

Perhaps the chart topping R&B songstress needs to realize that the first “love of her life” shouldn’t necessarily be the last.

What do you think of the Karrueche, Chris Brown, Rihanna soap opera? Is this destined to fail?
