Once Kanye West announced to the world that he’s going to buy Kim Kardashian a whole new wardrobe because he doesn’t like her clothes and he wants her to get on the best-dressed lists, then he essentially owned everything she wore from that day forward—at least in the eyes of the celebrity gossip media.
That’s what’s going on now, as Kanye is being blamed for every unfortunate fashion choice Kardashian makes. When she walks out of the house in something that the tabloid media considers unflattering or unbecoming, it must be West’s fault. And even worse, the media is blaming him for Kardashian wearing outfits that hide her famous curves.
The lead story on the British-based Daily Mail website today had the headline, “What Has Kanye West Done to Kim Kardashian’s Fashion Sense?” The accompanying story called her Big Bird for an outfit she chose that featured a white fringed top.
“Her sense of style underwent a radical shift when Kim Kardashian started dating Kanye West,” the website wrote. “And the reality star today showed just how much she’d changed as she trotted around New York Fashion Week on the rapper’s arm. Normally a fan of clinging low cut dresses that highlight her cleavage, she instead wore a fringed white dress which completely swamped her upper half.”
The “Otis” rapper laid it all out there for the world to see on his girl’s reality show, “Keeping Up with the Kardashians.”
While she tries on the clothes, Kanye can’t resist touching. As the seamstress makes adjustments to the black dress, Kanye seductively runs his hands up and down Kim’s hourglass figure, causing her to giggle. Kanye is clearly proud of Kim and her figure. This is the same man who tweeted a picture of his girl, pictured from behind in a skintight white dress with a low-cut back, with the caption “Mercy!”—a clear reference to his song “Mercy” and its hook, “Lamborghini mercy, your chick she so thirsty.”
