“Green Mile” actor Michael Clarke Duncan dead at 54, his fiancée Omarosa Stallworth has confirmed, according to the Associated Press.
As Atlanta Black Star reported last month, actor Michael Clarke Duncan had been hospitalized in Los Angeles for more than seven weeks after suffering a heart attack.
Duncan’s publicist Joy Fehily said through an emailed press release on the 7th of August that the 54-year-old Duncan “was just moved from the intensive care unit, but remains hospitalized.”
“His family are firm believers in the power of prayer and have asked that you keep him in yours during this time,” the statement read.
There was no further information released on Duncan’s condition following the July 13 heart attack until now.
Duncan’s life was saved by his girlfriend, television personality Omarosa Stallworth, who reportedly performed CPR on him after she found him in cardiac arrest at his Southern California home.
Stallworth successfully revived the large 6-5 actor after she called for help when she found him at 2 a.m.
Michael Duncan is survived by his sister Judy Duncan and girlfriend Omarosa Stallworth.
