BET's 'House Husbands' Gets New Cast And Title: It May Be Enticing

BET’s ‘House Husbands’ has received a new face-lifts.

First, the series which already has comedian/actor Kevin Hart attached, has landed five more cast members. According to reports, the production team has added Robin Thicke, J.B. Smoove, Boris Kodjoe, Duane Martin and Faizon Love to the cast.

Another thing that changed with the comedy series is the name. The comedy show, which was originally called ‘House Husbands,’ official new title is, The Real Husbands of Hollywood. The Real Husbands of Hollywood sound much like Bravo’s The Real Housewives franchise don’t it? That might be the big joke behind the concept, mocking the women’s behavior on those hit shows. Only time will tell!

The Real Husbands of Hollywood will explore the question of what it takes to be a real Hollywood husband. The funny, hilarious, and outrageous House Husbands sketch, which aired during the 2011 BET Awards, has been bumped up from an idea to an actual show. Originally, the short performance starred Nelly, Bobby Brown, Anthony Anderson and Nick Cannon as Hollywood Husbands, but none of these men are confirmed to be in the cast as of yet.

Stan Lathan is attached to direct and Ralph Farquhar will executive produce along with Hart, Tim Gibbons, Dave Becky, Lathan and Jessie Collins.

The Real Husbands of Hollywood currently has a 10 episode order.
