Mariah Carey took 13-month-old son Moroccan to visit the country in which inspired his name, the North African country Morocco.
The 42-year-old international singing sensation and the cute little one were spotted at the airport before taking a flight to Rabat, the Morocco capital. The place and name is sentimental to Mimi because husband Nick Cannon proposed in a Moroccan-style room.
The “We Belong Together” singer sported a bright orange ensemble while Moroccan was cute-as-a-button in a checked shirt and jeans.
Besides the sentimental aspect of the trip, Carey was in Rabat for a performance at the 11th Mawazine World Rythms music festival.
The “Dreamlover” singer found herself backpedaling as she made snarky remarks last week about the judging panel for X Factor USA.
“I love [Britney], honestly. I think she’s a very nice person, but I don’t care who’s going on that show – as long as it’s not me.”
She quickly retorted via Twitter: “@BritneySpears & @SimonCowell of course I luv+care about you dahhlings, congrats! U never know what’s true or gossip,I was joking around!xo.”
