Meagan Good, 30, who got engaged earlier this year to minister Devon Franklin, is deciding to honor her vows in a wholesome way by remaining celibate. The two have vowed not to engage in pre-marital sex.
The “Californication” actress gave a few particulars to Life & Style magazine:
“Our wedding night will be the first time we’re actually together,” said Good who will become first lady of the church of Seventh Day Adventists once she ties the knot.
On knowing the Sony film executive, whom she met on the set of “Jumping The Broom”, was the one:
“Because he was willing to be celibate with me for a year. He loves God, more than I love God, so I don’t think there’s anything wrong [with him].”
Though Meagan wouldn’t give up the details for the wedding date, she did offer plans for their Malibu nuptials:
“We found the venue, which I’m really excited about, and it’s going to be in Malibu. I know I want to go for a bayou-themed kind of Spanish mosque, a very enchanted-y Twilight feel.”
Congrats to the lovely couple and their vow of celibacy!
