Usher Raymond Balks At Ex-Wife’s Request To Pay Legal Bills

Usher Raymond is fighting back. The Grammy winner finds having to pays his ex-wife’s legal fees to fight him in court—absurd, according to TMZ.

After forking over $25,000 to cover the mother of his two sons’, Raymond V and Naviyd, legal fees, Tameka Raymond thinks she deserves another 50 grand to fight the singer-performer in court, get this—to increase child support payments and for full custody of their boys.

The once-happy couple married in 2007 and lasted a couple years before the two went their separate ways in 2009. Every since the divorce proceedings, Tameka has had them entangled in a court battle.

The “Climax” singer filed his own court documents earlier this month after learning of the stylist’s demands.

Tameka has consistently defied court orders and filed frivolous motions which “directly harms the best interests of the minor children” akin to trying to get the court to force him to take a drug test, according to court documents.

As such, Usher’s argument is “such actions should not be tolerated, much less rewarded.” Besides the devoted father insists he carries the brunt of the financial burden already, especially where his children are concerned.
