Fantasia Barrino welcomed her son Dallas Xavier with a still married Antwaun Cook on December 13th. Other than a confirmation of delivery Fantasia has remained quiet about her new addition. A National Enquirer report surfaced in late December with an insider claiming that Barrino wants Cook to step up to the plate.
“Fantasia has a lot of people to support.”
“A few years ago, she dug herself into a deep financial hole that took her a long time to get out of. She’s still financing an expensive lifestyle and touring constantly to pay for it.
“What Fantasia really hopes is that he will step up now, marry her and help with the care of their family,” added the friend. “She’s tired of carrying the whole load by herself!”
While Fantasia’s “friend” is hoping for a change Wendy Williams stepped in on Thursday to remind everyone that it’s not going to happen.
“Fantasia, I don’t know whether it was a broken condom or maybe you miscounted the days if you happen to take a pill… you had control over this entire situation.”
“As a wife, and I always root for the wife (Paula Cook in this case), you were dead wrong for this one Fantasia. Fantasia you haven’t sung in ages. You’ve got a family that blood sucks financially off of you and you weren’t in a position to have another child, especially with a married man who already has two kids that works at the T-Mobile store. He’s not going to marry you because it’s cheaper not to divorce his own wife, unless you go multi-Platinum.”
