Update-Rihanna , the sexiest woman alive is nude and gorgeous on the November cover of Esquire magazine. In the issue the Bajan born Rude Boy singer talks Chris Brown and her sexuality. The interviewer spends several days with Rihanna while she was on tour. While most of it was filled with his reenactment of RiRi’s day to day activities; there were some stand out quotes.
The runaway quote of the day of course is Rihanna’s positive take on Chris Brown. Since the 2009 incident, Chris Brown has found his place again atop the Billboard charts. His single “Look At Me” peaked at no. 6 on the Billboard Hot 100 charts and was Brown’s highest chart topper since the incident. Rihanna’s success are of course plentiful and she hopes the same for Brown.
“It’s incredible to see how he pulled out of it the way he did. Even when the world seemed like it was against him, you know? I really like the music he’s putting out. I’m a fan of his stuff. I’ve always been a fan. Obviously, I had some resentment toward him for a while, for obvious reasons. But I’ve put that behind me. It was taking up too much of my time. It was too much anger. I’m really excited to see the breakthrough he’s had in his career. I would never wish anything horrible for him. Never. I never have.”
Some other quotes from the interview was Rihanna’s take on her sexuality during her shows. Last month Rihanna admitted she’s only playing a part in this whole scheme but this time she could hardly admit she’s fully conscious of her actions.
“At the end of a concert, I don’t feel like I’ve been this sexy thing. Really, I don’t even think about it.”
“Unless it’s a song that really calls for it, like “Skin” or “S&M,” or when I cover “Darling Nikki.” There’s a section that’s called “Sex” in the show, which is the obvious section for sexuality.”
“Honestly, even if it comes across sexual – it has to be a part of my subconscious thought. It’s never deliberate in the rest of the show. I don’t even really… I could see “What’s My Name?” – the dancing is pretty sexy. “Rude Boy.” But I don’t know. I guess people find different things sexy.”
Hmmm….interesting. Anyway, now we know why Rihanna stated she was starving herself for this shoot. Will everyone finally begin to move past Rihanna and Chris Brown?
