Basketball Wives star or should we say former star Meeka Claxton has officially gotten the boot. After a tumultuous first season Meeka is out of the circle – for good. Honestly Meeka had no chance – she was already the exception to the rule as the only active Wife on the show that’s about wives. But the straw that broke the camels back was when she dared to file a lawsuit against fan favorite Tami Roman.
While in Rome at a nightclub, Roman assaulted Claxton and a scuffle ensued. Tami has since refused to apologize even rationalized she was acting in self defense. Shaunie O’Neal, the executive producer, has since rallied behind Tami stating that Meeka was never a good fit.
TMZ has confirmed that Meeka has not received an invite, call, text – nothing from the producers since the reunion aired.
In a last ditch effort to be an adult and possibly make nice with the circle, Meeka stated she would drop the lawsuit if Tami, “learned her lesson”. The latter has yet to happen and Meeka is out. Don’t worry though, her reality TV career going down the drain hasn’t stopped Meeka from having some fan.
