Stacey Dash Blames Shooting Location For Quitting 'Single Ladies'

Update-Stacey Dash is leaving   Single Ladies after only one season. The former Clueless star has issued a statement citing the reason for leaving,

“I have to be back in L.A. with my children right now and the ‘Single Ladies’ shooting location [in Atlanta] makes this impossible. I wish VH1 the best of luck with the show in maintaining the strong fan base we developed in Season 1.”

Nearly 24 hours after the season finale aired rumors began flying that VH1 was looking for a new Val. Stacey Dash fired? Why?

Just before the season kicked off rumors of tension between Lisa Raye and Stacey Dash were surfacing on the web. Reportedly there was a huge scuffle on set that resulted in Stacey shouting, “No, I ain’t coming back unless that b*tch gets her as* kicked!,” before storming off set.

What’s done is done and Stacey is gone – yes she said she wants to spend more time with her daughter – but who’s really buying that?

So who should replace Stacey/Val? A few names from our readers have popped up, like Nia Long (who’s expecting her second child), Gabrielle Union or Sanaa Lathan. I think any of these actresses would do a great job and bring another level of notoriety to the show. Which of these ladies would be the best fit for Val on Single Ladies?
