Lionsgate has moved the release date for Tyler Perry’s Alex Cross up a week. The new date has been bumped to October 19th instead of its previously announced October 26.
There hasn’t been an official reason for the change but many people speculate that the switch had something to do with he film’s competition during that October 26th weekend. During that week, there are other films being released starring Robert De Niro, Susan Sarandon, Gerard Butler and Sean Bean, which may take away a little steam from Alex Cross.
Now, on October 19th, Alex Cross only has Paramount’s Paranormal Activity 4 to worry about as its competition.
