Kim Kardashian and her Kim’s Fairytale Wedding: A Kardashian Event was ratings gold for E!. As expected of course. The two part special aired in two-hour intervals beginning on Sunday night with the finale on Monday night. According to Nielsen 4.4 million viewers tuned in Sunday night and another 4 million tuned in on Monday. Though we must point out that Kim’s special ranks third amongst E! highest rated show: Keeping Up With The Kardashians happens to hold the no. 2 spot.
Kim K did her part an kept her fans involved – or should we say sent a gentle reminder to her fans to watch her special and skip her brother Rob on Dancing with the Stars.
“Dancing With The Stars and Kim’s Fairytale wedding! What a night tonight!”
“Are u guys ready to watch Kim’s Fairytale Wedding on E! Sorry Rob but we gotta switch over soon to E! #KimKWedding.”
And just in case her fans were not watching, Kim had time to provide a scene by scene of her favorite moments while of course dropping a few designer names. It turns out Kim was able to score most of her wedding vendors for free after promising publicity to her millions of Twitter followers and on her E! reality show.
This isn’t the only good news rolling into the Kardashian corner. It appears Kim’s new hubby Kris Humphries nearly lost his wedding ring at St. Paul Airport in Minneapolis on last Friday.
But don’t be alarmed, although the $10,000 band paled in comparison to Kim’s million dollar rock, it was precious nonetheless as it was located by a fellow passenger.
According to TMZ, Kris lost the ring after removing it during the security check. Then a traveler by the name of Omar Ahmad, noticed the frantic newlywed and helped him search. Ahmad recalled the moment by stating;
“He was crawling on his knees looking for it underneath the x-ray machine.”
Luckily it only took about 10 minutes to locate the band, and a relieved Humphries posed for a photo with his new hero Mr. Ahmad.
One Kardashian wedding…millions, finding your wedding band just moments after you lost it…priceless.
Leave it to the Kardashians to find a way to throw a million dollar wedding, barely pay a dime, and still ink out a profit at the same time. Now that’s good business sense!
