Is Blue Ivy Carter about to become a big sister?
The New York Post, citing multiple sources, says that Beyoncé and husband Jay-Z are expecting a sibling for their daughter, now 15 months.
Beyoncé, 31, has made no secret about wanting to give her first-born a sibling, and a new bump watch has commenced as the singing diva continues on a world tour that ends in Brooklyn on Aug. 5.
But a source tells People that the baby may not be on the way just yet: “Beyoncé and Jay are planning for another baby after her tour is over and things calm down just a bit.”
Most recently, Beyoncé appeared in a black and gold strapless Givenchy gown – with matching boots – at the punk-themed Met Gala in New York City. Her waist was cinched tightly with a grommeted black and gold belt.
She spoke to Good Morning America recently about the possibility of another child, but seemed open on the timing of when that might occur.
“I would like more children,” Beyoncé said. “I think my daughter needs some company … at some point, when it’s supposed to happen.”
Representatives did not respond to requests for comment.
